A vibrant field emerges beneath a moody sky, where bursts of fiery orange dance against layers of teal, turquoise, violet, and deep emerald. Thick, expressive brushstrokes create a richly textured landscape, blurring the line between abstraction and nature.
The painting evokes the feeling of standing in a garden just after rainfall—when colours appear more vivid, the air feels heavier with possibility, and light begins to return through the clouds. The contrast between the cool, cascading sky and the warm, luminous blooms creates a sense of resilience and renewal.
Through energetic mark-making and bold colour relationships, After the Rain celebrates nature's ability to flourish after uncertainty, reminding us that beauty often emerges in the wake of change.
